How about another look the Temple of the Count at Palenque?

In the first post in this series, it was noted that

*In the Temple of the Count, we find recurrence of the measure of 2.71 m = 8.891076115 ft, looking very much like one of the rather popular simple “backhanded” forms of the Venus Orbital Period: 2 / 8.891076115 = 224.944649 / 19^n, most like VOP A or possibly C. There is also evidence there of some true classics: sqrt 60, 1.622311470, and 1 / 1.622311470*, and that

*Running through several structures at Palenque may be something of a minor theme of the half square of the Solar Year (Temple of the Cross Room 4 length 2.03 m = 6.660104987 ft; Temple of the Count Room 1 vault height = approx. 2.03 m).*

Here is what my datasheet currently looks like for the Temple of the Count.

We seem to see 1.622311470 written backwards and forwards. For anyone just tuning in, between thee expressions of 1.622311470 and sqrt 60, the Temple of the Count seems to be equipped with *both* of the two mathematical probes ever discovered (2 / 1.622311470 and sqrt 60), suggesting both intent and that there is some series data to be unbundled with these powerful data retrieval tools.

Note the possible 8.707913303 in the central door, just as this number was found in the door of Tikal Temple II. There’s also the possible appearance of 4.737410113 (1/10th of the square root of the Aubrey Number) recurring through Rooms 2, 3, and 4.

8.89107611 is presumably 2 / 224.8373808 = 8.895317998, apparently a rather popular “backhanded” way of writing the Venus Orbital Period in ancient America.

For the doors of Room 1, the ratio 1.96 / 1.88 = 1.042553191 may mean some version of 104 unless the data is off enough for it to be (Pi / 3) = 1.047197551 (about 1 centimeter error somewhere). Clearly (Pi / 3) would be a very good complement to 1.622311470 and sqrt 60, since (Pi / 3) is also often a very powerful data retrieval tool, as discovered at Tikal. No representation of 104 is known to have very much exponential utility, in contrast to (Pi / 3).

The ratio between doors 2.65 / 1.88 = 1.409574468 may have to remain mysterious for the moment. It’s possibly 19.46773764 x 360 x 1 / 10^n = 1.401677110 to take a wild guess, but that remains to be seen. In an earlier effort from last November, it was proposed that this ratio could mean 12 x 1.177245771. In some ways, the significance of this is more visible if we apply 6 x 1.177245771 = 224.8373808 x Pi / 10^n instead.

After all, *224.8373808 = 1.622311470 x (1.177245771^2) x 10^n.*

The ratio 2.65 / 1.96 = 1.352040816 is suggestive of the reciprocal of the Squared Munck Megalithic Yard (sometimes called RSMMY or RSMY for brevity) = 1.351926225.

If 2.65 m = 8.694225722 ft means 8.707913303 ft, then what they may have done here is to write *the very same equation as in the exterior door of Tikal Temple II* in partly backward form. At Tikal Temple II, door height / width = 8.707913303 / 7.396853331 = 1.177245771. At Palenque, the architect may have written 8.707913303 x ((1 / 7.396853331) x 10^n) = 1.177245771 x 10^n across the ratio between several doors.

This pairing forms a series, accepting (1 / 7.396853331) x 10 = 1.315947254 up to at least the fifth power, with the reciprocal of 2 Pi also being part of the series — classic ancient American calendar math that also seems to be recorded in the proportions of the Aztec calendar stone, the “Sun Stone“.

We also find that for Room 2, the length / width ratio = 2.36 m / 1.45 m = 1.627586207, which may be *another* occurrence of 1.622311470. 2.36 m = 7.742782154 is the measure suspected of meaning sqrt 60 = 7.745966692 ft.

This would make 1.45 m = 4.757217848 into sqrt 60 / 1.622311470 = 4.774648294. The product of length x width would then be 4.774648294 x 7.745966692 (sqrt 60) = 36.98426665, or 5 Squared Munck Megalithic Yards in feet, which may be a satisfactory arrangement. Further justification should be sought for the presence of 4.774648294 (15 / Pi), but these suggestions form at least one significant series.

Perhaps there is justification in that 2 / 4.774648294 = (Pi / 3), which may mean that 4.774648294 has exponential usefulness itself.

*Observe then the reverse cross-referential arrangement between Rooms 2 and 3* *that arises from these suggestions:*

Room 2: Length / width = 7.745966692 / 4.774648294 = 1.622311470

Room 3: Length x width = 16.22311470 x 4.774648294 = 7.745966692

The ratio of Room 3’s length / width is then 16.22311470 / 4.774648294 = 4 / 1.177245771.

For Room 1 then, we have room height of 2.71 m = 8.891076115 ft, and a vault height of ~2.03 m = ~6.660104987 ft. This gives a total height of 2.71 + 2.03 = 4.74 m = 15.5511811. It’s very suggestive of 15552 / 10^n but it may not be, as there may be limited compatibility, even if the intended number has essentially the same functions as 15552. On the other hand, I may be taking him too literally on the meaning of ~2.03 m.

Interestingly, the ratio between the two component heights, the room height and vault height, is approx. 2.71 / 2.03 = 1.334975369, which is rather suggestive of 10.67438159 / 8 = 1.334297699, so Andrews may have measured this vault height more accurately than he seems to be giving himself credit for.

If we go back to the problem of total height of Room 2, perhaps the answer is more something like 15.552 – 8.895317998 = 6.656682002. 6.656682002 x 2 = 133.133640.

360 / 1.351926225 (RSMMY) / 2 = 133.1433599. 133.1433599 x 2 = 2.662867199 x 100. 2.662867199 has found its way into many calendar related equations and can be formed by multiplying Half Venus Cycle / Venus Orbital Period by the Venus Orbital Period, hence it is (1 / HVC) x Venus Orbital Period^2.

133.1433599 is the product of the A and B forms of the Solar Calendar Year: A 364.7562611 x B 365.0200808 = 133143.3599.

155520 / 133.1433599 = 584.0321294 x 2, 584.0321294 being the Venus Synodic Period.

155520 / 8.895317998 = 17.48335473, which may take more effort to explain. Perhaps I’ve taken a false step, or perhaps they have a new number to teach us. The value is equivalent to 108 x 1.618829140. I’m not yet aware of any astronomical significance, but it’s new to me. It *may* be related to approximations of 224 or 364 or 117, being new numbers for me. Note that 780 x 224 = 174720 = 480 x 364 = 504 x 346.6666666

For Room 3, the room height is also 2.71 m = 8.891076115 ft and the vault height ~2.08 m = 6.824146982. The total height then would be about 2.71 + 2.08 = 4.79 m = 15.7152231 ft.

The ratios: 4.97 / 2.08 = 2.389423077, 4.97 / 2.71 = 1.833948339, and 2.71 / 2.08 = 1.302884615

The products: 15.7152231 x 8.891076115 = 139.7252447, 15.7152231 x 6.824146982 = 107.2429923 (possibly meaning Saturn’s Orbital Period of about 10759?), and 8.891076115 x 6.824146982 = 6.067401024.

Much of this isn’t immediately clear, but we can speculate. For example, 27.3 / 4 = 6.825. 1.302884615 easily represents some approximation of 13, whatever it may be. 1.833948339 may be 1.834791047. 10 x (Pi / 2) = 15.70796327 could prove a good candidate for the meaning of 15.7152231 ft.

15.70796327 x (2 / 224.8373808) = 139.72723284 may be a satisfactory answer to the raw values 15.7152231 x 8.891076115 = 139.7252447. The standard Saturn Orbital Period (1 / sqrt 8640) / (Pi / 2) would give 10758.28707 / 15.70796327 = 6.848938267 x 10^n = 5 / 73.00401617 (365.0200808 / 5 = 73.00401617) = 4 / Venus Synodic Period 584.0321293 =~13 / 18980 (18981.0442)

The approximation of 13 / 10, 2.71 / 2.08 = 1.302884615, would become (2 / 224.8373808 = 8.895317998) / 6.848938267 = 12.98787878 / 10, as it appears to be as Stonehenge since 12.98787878 x 4 = 51.9515151 outer sarsen circle radius.

Not everything is accounted for yet here, and *a few revisions may be in order*, but most of this may be correct, and for the second time today, interpretation of a particular structure at Palenque may have been farther than ever before.
